The 2025 CGST Sponsorship efforts are off to a great start! There is limited space on the Gator T-shirts for sponsorship commitments of $500 and up! We'll need your logo and hope you will all consider a $500 or greater by March 30, 2025.

The Crozet Gator Swim Team (CGST) is a summer tradition in the Crozet Community. This pool and its team have produced Olympians, NCAA athletes, state championships and most recently, the 2022 & 2023 Jefferson Swim League Champs and placed 2nd in 2024. Many of these swimmers began at age 5. As a community we watch these children grow up, not only cheering their success in the pool, but in the classroom and in the community. We believe in team building and personal excellence.

For over 30 years, the mission of CGST has been to help local swimmers develop swimming skills, confidence, friendships, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles. This positive environment extends to swimmers of all skill levels, maintaining a balance between the competitive spirit and summer fun. This year we are expecting to once again register over 250 swimmers between the ages of 5-18 years old.  The parents of our 200+ swimmers will help their children by volunteering on the committee and running the meets.  However, beyond volunteers, we need sponsors like you.

Your sponsorship dollars will help us pay our experienced coaching staff, purchase any needed equipment and host swim events for our swimmers, competitors and all the families. Your sponsorship dollars also help us offer scholarship funds to swimmers who might be interested but need a little financial support. We seek to create an inclusive team for everyone in our community regardless of their economic status. 

As a sponsor, you will be able to share your business with the CGST families, patrons at the Crozet Pool, as well as the visiting teams from the surrounding area.  We encourage our Gator swim families, as well as visiting team families, to patronize sponsor businesses at all meets.  We would love the opportunity to support your business because of your support.  We can’t do this without you. Last year, for the first time, we offered logo placement on our team shirts for businesses that committed $500 or more!

The 2025 swim season is going to be a thrilling one. We have an enthusiastic Head Coach, Tasha Congdon. Tasha grew up as a CGST member and has served as our head coach last year and the assistant coach prior to that.  Coach Tasha has a wonderful coaching staff to help support our success this summer! The majority of our assistant coaches are also current or former CGST swimmers.

We kick off practice on May 19th and begin promoting sponsor businesses at this time, through social media, on our pre-ordered team shirts, swim meet heat sheets and real time meet announcements.
